Thank you for using our products and services and for taking the time to review our Terms and Conditions.

By using this website, and in exchange for us granting access to it, you agree to these Terms, which, together with our Privacy Notice, govern your use of the Platforms (terms defined below).

This document forms a contract between Skin & Shape, the Pharmacy, and you.

A. Introduction

1. Outline of Parties and Services

Skin & Shape UK Ltd (company number [insert company number]) operates an online health platform dedicated to health and wellness services for patients, customers, and other users (referred to as “you,” “your,” or “yours”). Skin & Shape provides services through its website (www.skinandshape.co.uk) and associated platforms (the Platforms).

Pharmacy:

Our Pharmacist Independent Prescriber & Superintendent Pharmacist, Zuhra Hamza (registration number 2225385), is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). The Pharmacy is responsible for dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications and is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council, located at 25 Canada Square, London, E14 5LQ. You can verify registration details on the GPhC website at www.pharmacyregulation.org.

Services Provided by Skin & Shape:

Skin & Shape facilitates:

i. Communications (including advice and consultations, where applicable) between you and:

Partner Prescribers: Prescribing pharmacists who are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and qualified as independent prescribers. They conduct medical consultations and prescribe medications where clinically appropriate.
Partner Pharmacists: Dispensing pharmacists registered with the GPhC, responsible for fulfilling prescriptions.
Partner Contributors: Medical and allied health professionals, including nutritionists, dieticians, and patient support specialists, acting on behalf of Skin & Shape.
Associate Practitioners: Third-party healthcare providers with indirect arrangements with Skin & Shape.

ii. Access to Platforms that provide:

A record of communications with Partner Prescribers and Partner Contributors.
Support resources, including personalised health advice, analytical insights, and information about relevant conditions.
iii. Access to an online health community for support and engagement.
Pharmacy Services:
The Pharmacy provides:
Fulfilling prescriptions and selling prescription-only medications, subject to the clinical judgment of Partner Prescribers.
Selling and delivering non-prescription medications and products.
Coordinating delivery through third-party courier or postal service providers.
The combined Skin & Shape Services and Pharmacy Services are referred to collectively as the Services in this document.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, using, or purchasing from the Platforms, you agree to these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you, Skin & Shape, and the Pharmacy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Platforms immediately.
You are responsible for complying with these Terms.
From time to time, we may revise and update the Terms. Changes will take effect from the date specified on the Platforms. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Customer Account

General Provisions

The Services provided through the Platforms are only available to individuals who:

i. Are over 18 years old.
ii. Reside in the UK.
iii. Access the Services within the UK.
iv. Are capable of entering a legally binding agreement with us.
v. Have the capacity to consent to medical treatment, as determined by a Partner Prescriber in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
vi. Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
vii. Create an account (where applicable) to access subscription-based Services.

When creating an account, you must:

Provide true, accurate, up-to-date, and complete information, including personal and health details.
Secure your account with a strong password and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use.
We will handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Notice.
Decision Not to Provide Services
We reserve the right to withdraw or refuse the provision of Services if:
A Partner Prescriber or Pharmacist determines that you are clinically ineligible or unsuitable.
You breach these Terms.
You indicate that you no longer wish to use the Services.

Your behaviour on the Platforms or toward Partner Prescribers, Partner Pharmacists, Partner Contributors, Associate Practitioners, or employees is deemed abusive or unacceptable, as determined by our Clinical Operations Lead or other relevant personnel.

B. The Platforms and Services

4. Services Provided by Partner Prescribers and Partner Contributors

Consultations with Partner Prescribers

When you undertake a consultation with a Partner Prescriber, you enter into a clinical treatment relationship with that Partner Prescriber. Skin & Shape is not liable for the services provided within that relationship, including medical advice, prescribing medicines, or any other clinical decisions.
Partner Prescribers operate according to the protocols set by the Pharmacy but maintain clinical independence. They are responsible for:
Healthcare services they provide, including compliance with standards of care and guidance issued by their professional regulator.
Maintaining proper records.
Complying with applicable laws, including privacy regulations.

Partner Prescribers have the same obligations to you as if consulting in person. You acknowledge that their role within the Platforms is limited to assessing your suitability for specific health programmes and issuing prescriptions as appropriate. Partner Prescribers do not replace your general medical practitioner for other medical issues outside the Platforms.

Key Acknowledgements:

We do not guarantee access to a specific Partner Prescriber or Contributor.
Partner Prescribers may decline to prescribe medication, issue repeat prescriptions, or provide requested services based on clinical judgment.
The appropriateness of consultations and treatments is determined solely by the Partner Prescriber.
Prescriptions Issued by Partner Prescribers
Partner Prescribers decide whether to issue prescriptions and the number of repeats based on clinical discretion.
If prescribing a medicine for “off-label use,” you acknowledge that its prescribed use may not be listed by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
A prescription does not guarantee the medicine’s availability at the Pharmacy. Skin & Shape is not liable for supply availability.

Services Provided by Partner Contributors

Certain Partner Contributors (including doctors, dieticians, nutritionists, health coaches, and personal trainers) provide medical, dietary, and general health advice within their professional scope. Partner Contributors maintain clinical independence and are responsible for the services they provide, adhering to:

Professional standards of care.
Record-keeping and compliance with applicable laws.
This advice is strictly limited to the services provided by Skin & Shape and does not replace general medical advice.
Facebook Community
Patients prescribed medications through Partner Prescribers may be invited to join the Skin & Shape Facebook Community to connect with Partner Contributors and other patients. Participation is optional, and any information shared in the Community is processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
By joining the Facebook Community, you agree to:
Comply with the terms outlined upon joining and Facebook’s policies.
Avoid implying any commercial relationship or endorsement by Skin & Shape.
Treat all content as general information and seek professional advice before acting on it.
Understand that content shared by other members does not represent Skin & Shape and may not align with its views or values.
We reserve the right to remove content from the Facebook Community at our discretion.

5. Purchase, Dispensing, and Delivery of Medicines Prescribed by Partner Prescribers

Purchase and Dispensing of Medicines

The Pharmacy may decline to dispense a prescription for clinical, legal, or practical reasons, including the unavailability of the medicine.
If a prescribed medicine is unavailable, your treatment plan may be paused.
The Pharmacy ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for dispensing medicines.

Delivery of Medicines

Medicines are delivered to your provided address by an Associate Courier. Your personal information is shared only as necessary to facilitate delivery.
Delivery time frames are estimates and may vary based on factors such as prescription approval or courier delays.
You are responsible for ensuring appropriate delivery arrangements and correct storage of medicines upon receipt. Skin & Shape is not liable for issues arising from improper storage.
If medicines appear damaged, are incorrectly dispensed, or deliveries are delayed, contact us immediately for assistance.

6. Purchase and Delivery of Non-Prescription Products

Purchase and Delivery of Non-Prescription Products

Prices for non-prescription products are displayed on the Platforms at the time of purchase and include VAT and shipping.
Delivery is arranged through an Associate Courier, and personal information is shared only as necessary.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and depend on all required information being available for dispatch and delivery.
You are responsible for checking the suitability of products, including allergens and instructions, before use. Skin & Shape is not liable for any adverse effects caused by improper use or storage.
If a non-prescription product is damaged or delivery is delayed, please contact us using the details provided in Clause 13.

General Provisions

Partner Prescribers, Partner Pharmacists, and Partner Contributors may request additional or clarifying information during consultations or other interactions. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information. Providing false or incomplete information when obtaining prescription medicines may constitute a criminal offence.
Records of consultations and communications are maintained by Partner Prescribers and Contributors in compliance with legal and professional requirements. Skin & Shape may store these records as required by law and outlined in the Privacy Notice.
You must notify your general practitioner of any medicines or treatments prescribed by Partner Prescribers. If you wish for Skin & Shape to forward this information on your behalf, please provide written consent.

Emergency Situations

If your condition changes, symptoms worsen, or you experience noticeable side effects from any treatment, you must:
Contact your general practitioner.
Dial 111 for non-emergency medical advice.
Dial 999 or visit your nearest hospital emergency department in urgent or life-threatening situations.
